Types of Urea Formaldehyde (UF) Glue Plant

Urea-formaldehyde (UF) process follows the classic alkali-acid-alkali route with three stages: 1. Hydroxymethylation: Urea reacts with formaldehyde under neutral or weakly alkaline conditions. 2. Polycondensation: Adjust pH to weak acid for polymerization to target molecular weight. 3. Cooling: Revert pH to weak alkali and cool to ambient temperature to obtain precondensed liquid.

Why Build a Urea Formaldehyde (UF) Glue Production Plant?

Building a UF glue production plant adopts the mature classic alkali-acid-alkali three-stage synthesis route with stable and controllable reaction conditions. By precisely regulating pH values in each phase, the system can accurately control the molecular weight of polymer products, and finally obtain qualified pre-condensed urea-formaldehyde glue after neutralization and cooling, which meets the mass production demand of wood adhesive raw materials.
