Abundia Global Impact Group has entered into a multi-project licensing agreement with Topsoe to deploy HydroFlex technology at its first waste-plastics-to-renewable products recycling facility in Baytown, Texas. The technology will be used in the upgrading stage of the recycling process, enabling the conversion of plastic waste into renewable fuels and chemical products.

The agreement includes a long-term commitment to deploy HydroFlex technology across multiple future facilities planned by Abundia, forming a key element of the company's 2026 development roadmap as it progresses toward final investment decisions.

Abundia's renewable production strategy is built around a vertically integrated waste-to-value model, combining front-end waste conversion technology from Alterra Energy with Topsoe's back-end upgrading capabilities. Together, these complementary technologies enable the transformation of waste plastics into higher-value renewable fuels and chemical products that can seamlessly replace conventional fossil-based products.

The technology configuration is designed to ensure consistent product yields and reliable performance while meeting stringent global regulatory and environmental standards.
