We are the agent of iso-butene (or tert-butyl alcohol, TBA) two-step oxidation to Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) technology provider in China. In 2012, a 20,000TPA MMA plant was erected, and in 2013 this MMA plant was put into production and conformed product was successfully manufactured. In 2014, this process passed the technology accreditation of China Petroleum Chemical Industry Federation, and the experts unanimously thought it has reached international leading level.

Technology Introduction for Stable and Advanced MMA Production Technology

There are three prevailing processes for MMA, or methyl methacrylate production, C-2 Process starting from ethylene, methanol and formaldehyde, C-3 Process (also called as ACH Process) which uses the byproduct of HCN from acrylonitrile production as the feedstock, and C-4 process which uses isobutene or tertiary butanol as the feedstock. SL TEC provides MMA plant based C-4 Process, consisting of three working units, i.e. oxidation unit, distillation unit and esterification unit.
