Our dimethyl carbonate (DMC) refining technology starts from sustainable raw materials: carbon dioxide and propylene oxide. Through an integrated process route, we first produce propylene carbonate, followed by transesterification to generate DMC and co-product propylene glycol. This approach not only valorizes CO₂ emissions but also offers an economically attractive pathway to a versatile green solvent and chemical intermediate.


What distinguishes our DMC refining process is the combination of high-efficiency separation and purification steps tailored to achieve battery-grade and industrial-grade DMC. Our technology features low-energy distillation sequences, advanced extractive distillation, and optimized column internals to break azeotropes and remove trace methanol and water. The result is DMC purity exceeding 99.9% with minimal byproduct formation.
