In 2026, Shanxi Huda Special Plastics New Material Technology Co., Ltd. successfully started up its 10 KTPA polysulfone series product plant in Yangquan, Shanxi Province, realizing continuous mass production as planned. The project represents a major breakthrough in medical-grade and membrane-grade polysulfone technology, filling domestic market gaps and reducing reliance on imported high-end specialty engineering plastics. Widely applied in water treatment membranes, artificial heart valves, aerospace components, medical devices, and electronics, the high-performance polysulfone produced at this facility supports critical domestic manufacturing needs. Fully ramped up, the plant is expected to generate an annual output value of 300 million yuan, contributing over 50 million yuan in taxes and reinforcing China's self-sufficiency capabilities in advanced specialty polymers.
